Compatible with most TOPPING DAC products, except D30 and DX7 (not DX7s).
2. Supported Operating Systems
The driver is for Windows only (Windows 7 to Windows 11).
Other operating systems such as macOS, Linux, and Android do not require a driver.
3. Do I Need to Install the Driver? What Does It Do?
• What it does: The TOPPING driver mainly provides ASIO (Audio Stream Input Output) support. ASIO enables low-latency audio playback and high-resolution audio output for a better listening experience.
• When you should install it: Install the driver if you plan to use ASIO and an ASIO-compatible player (e.g., Foobar2000, JRiver, etc.).
• When you don’t need it: If you’re not using ASIO, you can skip the driver—the DAC is plug-and-play and works right away.
